Anybody been to/stayed at Hotel Football? The W and I are headed to Ingerland in July. Thought about staying there and just doing the grounds tour since it'll be offseason.

Would love to hear some experiences though so I can decide whether it's worth it to put the hard sell on the wife.

That away win at West Brom was mighty impressive. Have a real chance to load up on points during Christmas time.

I went in July a few years back. The tour is awesome. The locker room is like a small high school's locker room (unless they've upgraded) I think its tradition so they leave it that way. The walk out the tunnel is cool although you cant go on the field you just walk along the stands. Emotional when you see the plane crash tribute area and the guide talks about it. It ends in the gift shop of course which is a mecca of stuff you don't need but want. We watched a preseason match of Man U reserves squad, played at a small stadium I forget the name. You can still probably find a preseason match to go see. The crowds are humorous.

Take the Wembley tour while you're there, that place is awesome.

We can only hope it gets rained out like the last one on foreign soil.

I love United coming to the States, but why're we playing City when we'll face them at least twice next year? We should play the teams we don't normally play

Yea no doubt, would be nice to see them play outside of their own league at least.
