The thing I despise is even when United clearly put in a gutsy performance and win. Its still all gloom and doom in the english press. Talksport, BBC, Manchester Evening News, its all negativity. No matter what Amorim or the players do, there can be no positives.

That's because their jobs depend on United headlines and it's much easier for them to shite on us and stir the pot.

Fabrizio Romano literally cannot release a YouTube video without something United related in the title.

It makes everything so much louder for the players and faculty and the worst part is a good portion of our fans go along with the negativity which amplifies it even more. Most of these journos hate United and make money off our struggles...tune that shite out and back the manager and the players who turn up and do things professionally.

Actually heard Danny Murphy say on White & Jordan this morning that he thought United had improved markedly from last season and the formation wasn’t the issue. He thought they could finish top 8.

I literally think we’re a #6 and #8 away from competing for top 4/5. If we can solidify our midfield if will transform our entire team.

2 midfielders and 2 wingbacks.

Almost forgot about how bad Dalot has been as a wingback, hes been here at United for 8 years lol. I think Dorgu will come good he's still super young and was thrown to the wolves. He's done better than most give him credit for. We need a starting right wing back for sure.

Love his effort but he has been terrible at wb. I know it would be like $200M to do it but if we had 2 proper CM's and a RWB, we would be really good (assuming the new goalkeeper is an upgrade)

I love Dorgu as an athlete and competitor but he is not first team quality at this point...let him develop as a sub/rotation player but we can't be complacent in that position.

If the CBs can support the midfield like Amorim wants them to, that makes wingbacks the bigger priority.

Is this it for Amorim? Time to start selling these lads. This isnt going anywhere.

So many stupid signings over the years.

It's the players and it's been that way for years. The owners are fricking terrible and the common denominator in all of this...they brought in Amorim to completely overhaul the squad and shift the mentality of the club but they left him out to dry this summer. What a terrible hire if they don't support him to do what they hired him to do. If they sack him to cover up their own mistakes then I'm going to be fricking pissed.

If I'm Amorim and I see the players can't be bothered to match the opposition's intensity, shite themselves when pressed, and squander opportunities with bad passes/timing/decisions...what formation fixes that?

Oh well...we are a shite club that cares way more about revenue than trying to play good football. Sack Amorim or not, it doesn't matter.

Dalot is f’n AWFUL. Bruno is the worse captain we’ve ever had. Why did we sign a new keeper and refuse to play him lol?

Because the brain trust and ownership group thought a young keeper who has played one year of senior football at Royal Antwerp, who was brought in at the eleventh hour was what United needed to "compete for a top 5 spot."

I'm guessing Dan Ashworth was raising hell behind the scenes with these geniuses and that's why they cut him loose after paying millions.

It really appears as if Amorim is trying to sack himself with his selections. The continual pick of Bruno in a 2 man midfield might be one of the craziest things I can remember a coach just blindly doing. Bayondir is somehow worse than Onana, keeps picking him. Knows Maguire and Shaw have zero pace and play them in a back 3 to get killed by Brentfords pace on the counter. Then subs on Mount to play left wingback? Like what am I watching.

The saddest part about the situation is that if he is trying to sack himself, that says all we need to know about the working conditions at this club in all the worst possible ways.

The owners and leadership suck arse, the players as a whole are shite, our fans are stuck in the 90s, and the media are in the retribution phase of their trauma cycle.
