Yep on all those points.
Erl-“short hair, don’t care” I love it.
They need to make some signings. I think midfield is a problem. Losing Bernie will take some time to figure out. I’d rather Phil there than on the wing.

I think Anderson is gonna fill that role far more than we think. Bernie's best quality was his lungs and the fact that he knew exactly what Pep wanted. Anderson was all over the place today and had a pretty solid match IMO.

My only hang up is that I think Cherki is better in the middle. That said, with no Nunes to start, Guehi in the 6, and uncertainty on the back line you almost had to put Phil in the middle. Phil is better in the press and gives you significantly more in defense than Cherki does.
Once the window closes and the squad settles I think we'll see more Cherki, just need more defensive support.

I think he'll be fine. All the stories about him coming up are just glowing. Apparently other kids' parents loved him being around because he was so well behaved. Graduated a year early and he's pursuing a degree in mathematics. Even the current Lille squad have talked about how mature he is for his age. He might not reach Rodri's level but I don't think it'll be lack of effort from everything I've read about him.

Really like this one. 2nd in take ons last season behind Doku. We definitely have a profile we're chasing. I didn't mind Gakpo but I like this one even more.

Yeah. Not crazy about it but I get why we signed him. I just don't see where he fits honestly. He's a great player but it'll put a ton of pressure on Anderson and Bouaddi with him and Cherki in the squad.
