Need to finish top 8.
We are sitting at 15 points with Real Madrid, in 3rd/4th
Tottenham at 14 and 8 teams with 13, and 2 with 12. As mentioned, our goal differential isn't good, and if we lose it gets worse
We can only fall 4 spots and still stay in the top 8.
We should not lose at home to Qarabag.
If we were to tie, that still gives 9 teams the ability to pass us up.
Tottenham are going to Frankfurt who have nothing to play for b/c they are eliminated.
Newcastle @ PSG and both are at 13
Chelsea (13) @ Napoli (8) both with something to play for
Barcelona (13) get to beat Copenhagen at home although they are playing to stay in the Champions League.
Sporting (13) go to Athletic Club, who need to win to stay in the Champions League.
City (13) host Galatasaray who are playing to either be seeded or unseeded, but are comfortably onto the next round.
Atletico (13) get to beat Bodo at home, who have a slim chance of making it to the next round.
Atalanta (13) have to go to Union, who like Bodo have a slim chance of making it to the next round, but they'll be playing to win.
Inter (12) are going to Dortmund (11)
Juventus are going to Monaco, who need to win to stay in, although they are probalby safe with a tie.
Almost every team at 13 would likely win on GD over us except Atalanta
again, just beat Qarabag

Robbo potentially moving to Spurs?

Same lineup we played against Marseille except Gakpo instead of Hugo
Time for another Joemez masterclass. I hate it cause his father died but we looked so much better defending with no Konate against Marseille

This squad is so weak-minded.
Like manager, like squad?

Zero intent in the final third. Everybody scared to have a hit, just trying to pass it off to someone else and trying to walk it into the net. Wirtz and Salah both passed up multiple decent looks at goal to attempt a low percentage pass.
Szobo need to start making runs into the box and hitting the ball. Tired of watching us get 30 yards out and just passing it around back and forth until we lose possession

Anybody who can watch that match and their first thought is “GODDAMMIT SALAH!” isn’t very bright.
A well deserved loss IMO.
SACK SLOT!

Team is just so anti clutch
Not addressing our cb situation is criminal. If Gomez is out for awhile (shocker) we HAVE to buy someone this week

Is Liverpool great on offense so far this season? No, they are not. But Liverpool defensively is PUTRID.
Only 6 teams have surrendered more goals in the league this season than Liverpool.
Last season, the only squad that surrendered LESS goals than Liverpool was Arsenal.
Criminal indeed.

He gets dispossessed instantaneously on offense and consistently out of position.
Highest paid player and what do they have to show for it?

Since September, we’ve won just 5 Premier League games!!
And we weren’t that great the last few months of last season to be honest. Thankfully we had the league wrapped up by that point

So Gravenberch is playing CB, or we just going to ask Szobo to do that too?

Haha gotta be Grav
We lose or draw today is that it for Slot?

Frimpong went down with an early injury and was replaced with Endo.
I turned it on 4 minutes into the game and he was already out, so not sure what happened.
