fricking brutal, life is too short

It would have been terrible regardless, but 10 days after getting married?!! I can't imagine what his new bride is going through. The beginning of life together and it is all gone in an instant. Horrible news.

His poor family. Just terrible. He seemed like a really good dude. RIP.
I wonder if the accident will be ruled due to mechanical issue or operator error. The vehicle was torched and there are skid marks running off the road.

I had posted that earlier because I thought it would be strange you get a flat tire that leads to this.
And im not trying to post this to be cold, but to say the vehicle may have had known issues from the manufacturer.

My God. Their poor family. How tragic!
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Diogo Jota was travelling by car to Santander from where he would take a ferry to the south of England and then on to Liverpool. He had been advised to travel by car rather than by plane to avoid cabin pressure, due to a lung condition he had recently undergone surgery for.
Brutal

Man, I can’t stand Liverpool, but goddamn that sucks. Jota was a baller and always came through in the clutch, scoring his share of timely and important goals.
This reminds me of when the Detroit Red Wings’ defenseman Vlad Konstantinov was involved in a wreck shortly after 1997 Stanley Cup win. Konstantinov didn’t die, but was severely injured and paralyzed, ending g his career.
