Well realistically we have zero leverage on them. They won't have to pay more than £45m in my opinion.

The leverage we have is that we own the player and they want him. Even more, he just signed a new contract that still has 3 years left on it and we don't have to sell him. He hasn't turned in a transfer request and even if he does, we're not obligated to sell him below what we think he's worth. LFC will not allow Madrid to break the transfer record one week then try to heavy hand a low ball deal for an equally talented player the next.

They don't play CL football either.... IMO Suarez is worth every bit as much as Bale, so they would just need to endorse that RM check over to us...

Old players coming back and some randoms. Haven't seen an official roster but I've seen some names thrown around like Carragher, Hyypia, Alonso, Iniesta, Mascherano, I think maybe Torres. Don't know for sure though

Sergi Canos scored again for the U18s today and Chirivella (guy we signed from Valencia) got one too. Here's to our academy continuing to churn out quality players

Apparently the first goal from Canos was quite a beauty, Harry Wilson played a part in both the opening goals and also got yellow carded for a head-butt.
FYI: Chirivella has two last names, the other being Burgos. I got confused when I read an article referring to Burgos scoring the third.

Did you see the video that I posted earlier in the thread?
I don't know about his defensive skills but he should be an absolute asset to us going forward though.

I've read a bunch of shite that says Rodgers is taking him on loan with the intention to play as a winger. His defensive skills are apparently atrocious.
Maybe there is some truth to the Sterling loan rumors after all.

Yeah that vid was of him playing as a central forward & winger and he looked rather good going forward with his passing and creativity. He didn't have too bad of an eye for goal either.
