Surely, the Raheem Sterling to WHU on loan is BS....

With only the league and domestic cups to provide minutes for these kids, its tough in a crowded midfield. They brought in Aspas and it looks like we'll keep Downing, both of whom will command playing time that Raheem needs for development. Ibe is in the same boat. They've progressed beyond the reserves and need first team minutes.

Where are you seeing that? West Ham had a bid accepted today for Kalou, I doubt they go in for Sterling, even if it is just a loan.

I figure you have to loan either Sterling or Ibe.

I definitely wouldn't loan Sterling. Wouldn't be opposed to loaning Ibe though.

So reports are now coming out that the Suarez camp admits they read the contract wrong. I'm still not ready to say he will be a LFC player next season, but it's looking more and more likely.

yeah, sounds like he's not going to seek arbitration or put in a transfer request... If Arsenal want him they will need to cough up £55mm... I think we may take a little less outside of the EPL...
I still cant believe RM are offering £86mm for Gareth Bale... Gareth fricking Bale?!?

Yea, I imagine they would start seriously listening to offers from Madrid at the £35-40m mark.

Telegraph says that LFC could take legal action against Arsenal, but have decided not to.

I will be pissed if we even consider anything less than 40m from Madrid. IMO, 50m gets you a seat at the table or you can frick right off. If they can pay eleventy billion dollars for a left back they can pay 50m for a more talented forward. We don't have to sell plain and simple. In that TAW interview I linked earlier, BR said explicitly that we do NOT need the money.

On what basis? Unsettling the player or illegal contact prior to the 40 bid?
Posted on 7/30/13 at 11:29 pm to LSUSOBEAST1
No ways man. If they can bid 135mn Euros for Bale they can go up to at least 100 euros for a clearly better player.
