Sucks. But what a dream of a fricking season it's been. Still so over the moon and can't wait for CL next season

Football can be a cruel bitch sometimes
It feels good to be in the thick of things at the end of the year, and then you get your heart ripped out

Guys, City still has to go to Everton.

This, we aren't out of it yet

Out of it? As we have seen in recent years the race for the title is coming down the home stretch, anything can happen. City is due a slip after the Gods smiled down on them with those two late ones to snatch it away from United. I feel like I've been punched in the gut but we are going to come out swinging, let the chips fall where they may.

I'll say this much.........this sure as hell beats seventh place. YNWA.

Hell yeah, I mean I'm still a bit in dreamland because we're already guaranteed UCL football next season... But man winning this title would be so sweet.
Random side note: Horrible sports day for me in addition to the pair of bad results for us in the EPL today, the Flyers also lost game 5 and LSU struggling with Tennessee

Tigers pull it our brother, this is just the beginning for the Reds and we're gonna stamp it with a unforgettable title.

Everton likely have nothing to play for. I can't imagine them taking points from City with motivation, much less actually having a shot at something. I think we lost the title today.
That being said, fricking hell it's been a wonderful year. We got to watch some gorgeous football, we're back where we belong in Europe, and we have a manager who is a legend in the making.
Lots to smile about.

Why were Liverpool so eager in the 1st half when the game was 0-0? They should have been encouraging Chelsea to waste as much time as possible.

The first half is bread and butter for us. We have something like 56 goals in the first half. We were confident that we could score and Chelsea were content on taking their time with things and putting 11 men behind the ball.

But when a draw suits you so, why chase it?

There hasn't been a match this year where Brendan's played for a draw, including Chelsea and City away. That's not his style
And I didn't think we were that "desperate." We held the ball well, just struggled in the final third. And the high line was holding well, it just came down to a big error

You don't have to play for it but if the other team is going to give it to you let them.
I think it got pretty desperate pretty quickly in the 2nd half.

Whatever. Hindsight's 20/20
I have no problem with him playing for 3 points

Gerrard's error would be a heartbreaking way to lose the title. Here's hoping City will drop points. Chin up, boys! Whatever happens, it's been a great season.

Crossing my fingers that city drops points. I want to see y'all win it this year.

have you seen Pool's defense? they're not set up to park a bus, the better chance was to score an early goal which they almost did.
