That depth looks so sexy
Honestly I could even see Ilori as cover for Lucas until he bulks up a bit, since he was looking a little thin in the pictures I saw of him.

Yeah he's a big fan ever since he filmed that movie with the Northwest derby scene.

Mignolet after the goal against United.

He's captained a few times now. We have the England captain at every level.

I love how after the match, when BR was asked if he thought Pool would contend for the title, he literally laughed out loud, then stared the guy down, then said, We have 35 to go. Then realized this dude is serious and then backed off and said something to the effect of it's a fair question, but we won't get carried away.
I just love those moments at pressers when someone just loses it for a sec and you can totally read their mind, he was like, damn, dude we finally are off to a good start can you just hold off for a damn second, then he was like, well they are Liverpool diehards.
BTW, thanks Beast, got the subscription and loving it.

It's interesting that in that article he states he's learning from Carragher. I wonder if he and Carra still keep in contact... Wouldn't surprise me since Carra's world class off the pitch too

His kid is a LFC Academy player so I'm sure he is in contact with lots of LFC on a regular basis.

Looking at our fixtures thru October and now is the chance to earn maximum points... I hope we can keep this up. If so, a fight for top 4 seems absolutely doable...
I was just watching that Ozil video in the Arsenal thread and damn what a coup for them! Luckily for us, he wont have the same quality players on the end of those passes.
Tottenham have added a lot of quality, too.. and I believe Everton strengthened a good bit on deadline day.
Shall be fun and we get Luis back after the next 2 matches! I would be very surprised if he doesn't come out hungry with a big point to prove...

that was a good read... I agree it will be hard to drop Hendo
Posted on 9/4/13 at 11:56 am to TFTC
I figure when Suarez comes back Aspas will be dropped
Posted on 9/4/13 at 12:09 pm to LSUSOBEAST1
I agree, I read yesterday where BR says Suarez will start on the wing... presumably on the right, since he has also mentioned we needed a LW in the window... Moses..
I'm just wondering if Cou moves central with Moses on the left and Suarez on the right, dropping Hendo, since BR has said that is where he wants him to play (ideally) or do we keep Cou on left and Hendo in middle...
It will be interesting, but at least we have some exciting options

Suarez on the left, Cous in the Middle & Hendo on the right.

Doubt Henderson is dropped for a player who doesn't have a future at the club. He was brought in for depth
Posted on 9/4/13 at 12:40 pm to LSUSOBEAST1
I think he was brought in for more than just depth and his future will be evaluated at the end of season based on performance... If there is a club where he has less of a future, it's Chelsea... Obviously, this is just my opinion
All that said, Hendo has been playing great for now... so it will be hard to keep him out of the lineup...
Aspas hasnt been all that great, so I bet Moses gets a start in one of these next two games before Luis gets back..
edit: here is a link to quite a few different suggested lineups, not sure which one I agree with LINK

Agree on that for sure.
I don't see Rodgers dropping Henderson for Moses. I will be worried if that happens.
Mignolet
Johnson-Toure-Agger-Enrique
Henderson-Gerrard-Lucas
Suarez-Sturridge-Coutinho
That is our best 4-3-3 lineup imo.
Dropping Henderson for Moses and moving Coutinho centrally destroys what we are best at.

that link in my above post has some interesting ways of working Sakho into the lineup... Thats probably the bigger question mark to me.. For that kinda money, he almost has to play... but by all accounts, he isnt a RCB... obviously he is young and can probably learn..
