My recent thoughts:

Sloppy sloppy win. But I'll take it. At least Sterling looked good.

We are very short handed at LB this season

Intrigued by this idea of Downing at left back.. I hope it works, because to me it is just so important to have Glenn perfectly in place at right back. When he is covering for Enrique he is severely limited in the role he is suited to.

Robinson gonna start against City?

Is Enrique still banged up?? I thought keeping him out of WBrom was just precautionary. Not good.

So the Sahin deal is back on???? This is potentially fantastic news!

I'm still skeptical about this, but maybe the strategy is to hold out on Fulham and make them sell cheap... I wish Adam would choose to go the other way, take £3mm from Bolton for Spearing and hand that over to Fulham... done, Dempsey in... Spearing and Adam out.

While we transition over the next year or two, implementing Rodger's system, Dempsey's versatility and proven PL goal scoring record would be welcomed...

oh yeah, Thomas Rongen (hate his voice)...

The new Fox Soccer News is cringe worthy (the dry candian accent is not meant to be heard for long periods)... I miss Bobby McMahon. Though it wasnt the best either, I was used to those guys...

Isn't he the guy that caused Subotic to choose Serbia over the US?

LINK on Huntelaar to LFC in Dutch

quote:

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar in the short run in the Premier League. The striker of Schalke 04 has not yet reached agreement on a new contract with the German club and Liverpool is planning a bid to bring the Orange International.

The Reds bought early 2011 Andy Carroll from Newcastle United, but the 23-year-old Englishman has failed to convince and is on the transfer list. At Liverpool would Huntelaar his former Ajax colleague Luis Suárez encounter, with whom he played over two seasons together successfully. The Hunter will cost 20 million euros.

well, in pounds its only like £15mm...

Im curious, he banged in 48 goals last season, has played with Suarez and Van Gaal thinks enough of him to tell RVP he will be 2nd on depth chart (moving to 4-3-3) behind the KJH

Dunno, its intriguing... Always curious how he'd fare in EPL...
