I just read in an article I posted in the transfer thread that it is Sahin and his representatives that wanted a loan deal so that Sahin's options are open after this season.

Honestly think he might take over Gerrard's role at times in the season. Don't see him starting over Lucas, he might start over Allen. Not really sure. There will be a lot of rotation though. Allen is also capable of playing Gerrard's role.

The way it sounds to me is we would be able to opt for a permanent move, but Madrid would still have to approve. They are trying really hard to keep their investment. Like you said, hopefully Modric goes and plays well and there is no room for Sahin.

Dempsey to Liverpool is dead at the moment. Who knows what will happen on the 31st though.

IDK he and Sterling did pretty well on the left together. I'm open to starting pretty much anyone over Enrique at this point to be completely honest.

I thought he played surprisingly well considering he was out of position. His link up play with Sterling was actually really good. I would definitely be open to it, especially with such a solid core of center back presence deployed behind him.

I agree. Think he has the potential to do quite well actually. We all know Glen Johnson isn't a great defender.

If anything, if he plays the position well, at least it will give us a little more depth at LB with Enrique playing poorly and not having to move over glen. He certainly hasn't done anything spectacular on the wings to warrant a starting spot(sans the goal against Gomel)
