Even if this article were true, I have a hard time reconciling this line...
Who its he replacing in our starting midfield? Steven Gerrard? After one uninspired match? Lucas Leiva? He might've been the best defensive mid in England last year (pre-injury and he appears well on his way to a full recovery) Joe Allen? Rodgers' pet? C'mon, I could see Sahin getting some good minutes at Liverpool...but he's not guaranteed a spot on the first XI.
