I can imagine Henry is livid considering his efforts to appeal to the US market.

That should really help your American marketing strategy!

Studying lawyer to studying lawyer, wonder if there's a provision in their contract which would allow 'Pool to get out of the deal because of this. I would think so...

Wow. I wonder what this means for the future of Liverpool and Standard Chartered? Its a double edged sword. Piss off Americans or poss off the English...

I was thinking that earlier. I'd imagine so. They could argue it under any number of provisions that I'd imagine would be in there. There's got to be something about bad business practices.

I also had a similar thought. Who knows what will happen

Compilation of Dagger at the Euros
There's no doubt he's a top CB in the world. The question is whether keeping him and risking another injury filled year is worth more than 20M+ to buy a couple players. Our goals per match with him was .88 last season compared to 1.357 without him..

If I were yall I would try and keep him. Keep that back 4 together from last year. It would give Rodgers a good foundation and something less to worry about.

I agree. With a new system being put into place, I really don't think it's a good idea to breakup the only stable area of the squad.

According to Marca, we have joined the race to sign Sahin...
I can only imagine this would be if the Allen deal falls through...

Bellamy to Cardiff seems like a done deal. He reportedly rejected a 60k/week offer from QPR to join Cardiff at 30k/week to try and help them get promoted.
Although I thought Bellamy could contribute, Rodgers has done well to clean up the wage bill. Aurelio, Aquilani, Kuyt, Bellamy and Maxi are gone. Aquilani is the only one of those that is under 30 years old. Trimming the fat from the club and freeing up room to bring in fresh faces. Two players left: Cole and Adam.
It is also being reported that LFC rejected Man City's latest offer and told them it will take at least 22M to make them even consider it.

I want more than that. Especially with how loose City's transfer panties are. Make them drop trough like the prostitutes they are.

I read £15mm triggers a release clause... if Joe Allen wants to leave.

Just a question but wouldn't yall want a more quality player than Joe Allen at 15 mill? Or do yall think he is that good?
