maybe so, but I am drinking right now

Era: I started with mimosas as I do every Sunday morning, but have since moved on to an imperial stout from Oskar blues.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't we have the captain for every international squad in red?

Gerrard
Henderson
Wisdom
Someone else in the reserves....

Yup Jordan Rossiter.

Also I am tired of Reina fricking up. I'm starting to think it was the defensive organization of Rafa and not Reina himself that earned him those golden gloves. He has been shite since Rafa's been gone.

I think I'm starting to agree with this as well. If we could bring in a new Gk this summer and get rid of Reina, who'd you want to look at? Just curious. I have a couple of names in mind if they are available

Time to start collecting points in bunches. I am certainly not the most knowledgeable poster regarding the EPL, but the remaining schedule looks quite favorable.

13 matches (7 H 6 A) left and only 3 are against teams currently ahead of us in the table. All 3 of those matches are at Anfield and our away games are about as easy as they come (Avg. table position 16.3).

Remaining matches(Current table position, H/A):
West Brom (9,H)
Swansea (8,H)
Wigan (18,A)
Tottenham (4,H)
Southampton (16,A)
Aston Villa (19,A)
West Ham (11,H)
Reading (17,A)
Chelsea (3,H)
Newcastle (15,A)
Everton (5,H)
Fulham (13,A)
QPR (20,H)

Anyone care to chime in on how many points you think we can take from our remaining schedule?

It'll be hard to replace his ability on the ball and distribution (I'm not sure who is better), but his errors and shot stopping have really raised some red flags...

I think both Pepe and LFC can benefit from a mutual parting of the ways... I'll always hold him in high regard.

I would prefer him going to Barcelona or Atletico Madrid...

Barca was/is looking at him right? I was talking with a friend about the possibility of making a swap with them... Pepe for Valdez. Thoughts?

9-10 wins out of those 13 would make me ecstatic. Draw 2-3 and lose 1.

Possible? Yes but we never know with 'Pool. I would love to close the campaign out with a good run of form

I think we'll take between 27 and 30.

Also considering the games against Tottenham, Chelsea, and Everton are at home, I think we can shoot for some good results from those

Agree about the schedule, however a lot of the teams toward the bottom are starting to play a lot better imo. NU, Villa, and even QPR are not gimmes.

The other question is: Say we get 30 pts and end up with 66 points. Is it good enough to finish in the top 4?

In a normal season, that would probably qualify for CL. But this year probably not.
