good
maybe it's because nothing ever seems to happen with this team but I keep struggling to get convinced the Shelvey is a guy who should be routinely included anyways

The talent is there and the potential is massive, but Henderson should be the 3rd midfielder in this system. He gives the midfield much more balance especially when Lucas is absent. He's much more efficient, polished and defensive, but doesn't offer as much going forward.

Wasn't what we wanted but I was really encouraged with how we played. Suso in particular. To be thrown in there against Man U a man down, he played well.

Sorry Pool fans. Yall played well today and deserved to win. It's a shame the game had to be decided by controversial decisions.

We played great and still had an opportunity to pull out the W

I thought so too, except that one pass that led to their second goal... Again, I'm encouraged by our play... we really arent that far away from challenging for top 4... A few key positions and some depth... This PT for the young guys is so valuable...

For me what will be most telling is how we perform against Norwich. Our beginning schedule has been brutal. If we can't beat Norwich then we will really be in trouble.

@kennethdalglish: Better team lost Even with 10 men LFC were excellent.fantastic respect shown by all to the families.Resulr did not reflect LFC performance.
Also, Kenny might be drunk

Tough result. Very difficult to swallow. That's how football goes though.
In my article this week I talked about LFC defenders being cautious in and around the box. And while it's hard to blame Johnson (necessary tackle IMO), that's just what happens. The ref had a bad angle and made the wrong call.
Emotions aside, I thought it was our best performance of the season. The midfield was dominant. We won't compete without a goal scorer though.
Side note: no clue why Giggs still starts for United. Immobile. Really tilted the midfield in our favor.

I mean the red card fricked us, we know that. However I am extremely proud of the way we played with 10 and even 9 men. The refs screwed us as well yet we gutted it out and continued to play hard. Can't ask for anything else.

Ian Darke ?@IanDarkeESPN
No need for any debate on Rodgers new Liverpool. Playing like that they will soon be winning.
I agree... time to get good in the next month..

I thought sir Alex would take him out for sure after y'all went down to 10 men. Why not throw on Cleverly and exploit the man advantage?

No clue why Cleverly doesn't start. Very energetic player. Would have helped United a lot.
