If I were Rodgers I would send Sterling to the right at times during the match. I think he can beat Evra like a drum.

Did Evra get the start? If so, put Sterling on him and he will get embarrassed. His form has dipped tremendously the past 18 months.

Gerrard is key though.
Allen, Shelvey, Borini, Sterling, Sahin, Assaidi and Suso are all the the squad today and have all never played in the United/Liverpool rivalry. We need Gerrard to step up big time and have one of those vintage performances.

Borini is seriously starting to stand out negatively. First touch is poor and his complete lack of anything after Suarez's ball early is the moment of the match so far for me

Damn that sucks. It's what we've said all along. Shelvey is so raw, with tons of potential. Those tackles are an every game occurrence. He has no control of his temper in the match, and he has very rash moments. Henderson is more polished, with maybe a bit lower ceiling.

Don't expect Shelvey to see the pitch in the PL any time soon. That little bitch at SAF will not sit well with Rodgers at all.
