Just finished watching; stayed away from here until tonight. Great match, plenty of chances and they looked a SHITLOAD better than on Saturday

I remember everyone seemed to be down on signing bellers, except maybe cash, but the guy is all over the field and seems to be one of the only guys that can find the net. He never stops. Great 1-2 between him and Johnson for the score.

linked with tons, but most I'm sure are BS... the latest is Cavani (doubtful)

KK is always on about "The Liverpool Way" Doing business behind closed doors and not out in the public... so, I doubt he would comment on any potential signings...

Doesn't look like were gonna splash any cash. So disappointing.

It is disappointing. Ian Ayre came out yesterday and said Liverpool does have the cash to splash. It just looks like they are not going to do it.

Cavani would be an epic signing.

They did. They must have been mistaken.

Cavani would be a dream signing.

Due for what? Beautiful technique but he was given that goal on a platter. I was as excited as anybody when he finished it, but don't pretend like it made up for his 15 or so average appearances so far this season.

Thrilled it came against United though. I'm happy for him. It was something he needed.

ETA If anything, Liverpool fans need to be coming out of the woodwork thanking Carroll.

Gerrard post-game:

quote:

"You have to give Utd credit they controlled large periods of the game today but we got there in the end...If it wasn't for Carroll today we might not be in the [FA Cup} draw tomorrow"

I love him on this day.

Suarez's reaction was beautiful. It was like he scored himself. Kenny was full of unbridled joy as always.

On another topic, anyone care to donate a pair of nuts to Downing?

Carroll has been playing much better lately. One of the few bright spots at Bolton, actually.

Couldnt be happier.

So glad it was Evra's mistake that sent Kuyt through.

We're not racist, we just hate the mancs
