I laugh when people would try to argue that Fat Frank is/was a better all around player... not even close...

Torres always said Stevie was the best strike partner he ever had... I'm sure he misses the link up...

Moussa Sow tells Liverpoool come and get me. Also, Lille just signed a striker from Belgium today.

quote:

"Liverpool, well, that is a dream club. Anyone would be happy, scoring goals in front of the Kop can be the highlight of a career."

If we get Sow, Teixeira and Sinclair(plus Suarez back in two weeks and Gerrard stays healthy) and send out Kuyt, is that enough for 4th?

This is all I care about. I never want to watch him play ever again.

Damn that's rough to say about a guy who works his sack off for the team. Even if he's sub par while doing it, you have to give him some credit for his heart.

Gerrard just knew where to play them in and Torres made the perfect runs.

He is a NextGen guy from Sporting Lisbon... one for the future...

I have always said that I will never discount his work ethic. But ya'll know how much I have disliked him the past couple seasons.

What an incredible video. I wish we still had those finishers on our current squad. Man some of those guys put away some awesome goals.

I like Dirk and think he has a place on the team... Hell, had 14 goals last year...

But, I do believe its time to sell if we want to get any value for him...

Last year he was terrible. Nothing you can tell me will convince me otherwise. It was painful watching him play lone striker the first half of the season. And he padded his stats with the Man Utd hat trick and a bunch of PKs.

I've always stood up for the dude and don't get me wrong, he's a great guy, but it's time we start looking in another direction for a playmaker because thats obviously lacking in this squad sans Suarez.

Totally agree. He's done here. But he's a legend and I'll miss his glory days. Dude is a hoss.

the reliable kit guys on Rawk have been doing mockups of the new ones from Warrior but without attempting the 3rd because it's too hard to describe. It's being called 'the worst kit in the history of football' BUT I think it's supposed to be purple and gold.

So we may be the only Liverpool fans anywhere who actually want this shirt. But overall I have a terrible feeling about Warrior.

Purple and Gold can be ok, see Fiorentina... But, it has the potential to be horrendous. I like the mock ups of the home kits, but I am still very nervous to see them all unveiled...

I mean, it's Liverpool. Purple and Gold would make no sense.

I agree, it just seems none of these third kits make any sense these days...

I always liked the yellow and red third kit color.

SAME HERE

I get the whole Boston connection and everything, but why let a fairly small company who has never made soccer kits before take over for one of the biggest clubs in the game? Ive read somewhere that its something like a 6 year contract with them too.

I just hope they keep them simple and classic.
