Well looks like we wont have Suarez... He has accepted the ban and it appears it is effective immediately...
Also, here is the statement from LFC Love the response, as much as it pisses me off, its time to get on with it (They have already decided and no rebuttal is changing their minds)...

Carroll and Gerrard on the bench... oh well, come on you reds!!!!

LiverpoolFC.tv now says Carroll too start.
I don't think Gerrard is ready for 90 minutes. I'm find with bringing him on at half.

I'd rather start Shelvey in place of Adam.

I totally forgot about Shelvey and Spearing... Glad to hear AC is starting, I think its time to let him have a good run of games and try to find his form...
I'm not as hard on Adam, as most here, but I agree that he needs to step it up...

Adam has had some good crosses/set ups already this season, but he's just wildly inconsistent.... however, I'd rather him than Downing, who just seems to be able to run really fast and Henderson, who looks like he should be in a Polo ad rather than playing soccer...
I feel terrible for Gerrard, who in the twilight of his career, is probably playing on one of the worst teams he's ever played on....
i personally think we need Rafa back, we need someone who can consistently put the ball in the back of the net and we need a DM to convert defensive stops into scoring breaks/chances....
every game, we seem to be doing a good or decent job defensively, but we can't score to save our fricking nuts! can't get 3 points in the table not scoring goals.... Carroll, Henderson, Downing, they can all go play in the women's soccer league, since they play like women anyway.... i'd build around our CB's (Agger and Skrtl), play Gerrard even if at 80%, and try different lineups to try anything to figure out how to squeeze goals out of this team....

We have a lot of matches this month, at least 3 cup games, right? Plenty of opportunities for KK to try a few things...
Thankfully, the Tigers and Saints make it hard to be too upset... so again, I'll choose to stay positive

While I understand your beef, I don't think Kenny is to blame for it. Alot of these guys have failed to pan out, which is exactly what happened to to Rafa. We're always well organized and we create chances, we just can't put it in the back of the net to save our lives. To me, that's on the players, not the strategy.

that and $0.50 will get me a pack of Big Red.... frick the organization.... i'd rather have them out there running like they stole something, but SCORING, than being able to run around in an organized fashion, NOT SCORING....
i'm no expert, but i know this much.... a soccer coach has a lot of say as to which guys get bought, they implement schemes and formations, they institute a gameplan, etc..... so far, most (not all) of the guys we bought ain't worth dick, the "kick the ball far when we get possession and hope someone tall gets a greasy ponytail on the ball" gamplan ain't exactly cutting edge, and we are falling and falling fast in relation to the other teams at the top of the table.... sure, it's not all Kenny, but i'll be god damned if he's not about 80% of the problem....

to nitpick, Downing is one of the slowest wide players in the PL.
He was absolutely miserable today, again. He is a lazy frustrating player without the quality to pull off anything close to what we need. He can't earn space for himself (although once today he skinned Richards which blew me away cause it's the first time I can really remember it this year) and often his passes are lazy and just hit aimlessly.
Adam was pretty bad again which no longer surprises me. Really coming to the conclusion that this team just isn't very good (at least in the way that we want them to be). There is just so little quality.
I felt horrible for Carroll today because he spent 90 mins having balls aimlessly played up to him that he could do little with. City's defenders looked bored late on. Still thought he played well today though. Had some good knockdowns and was much more physical.
This team is infuriating

This could have been his best all around game since he's put on the shirt. He had at least 3 balls I can count that he knocked down in the box to a wide open player. We just couldn't convert any of them, and they all should have been converted (as usual). He won most of the 50/50's he went up for, he showed heart and passion, and actually played decent defense at times. Here's to hoping that continues.

It really is getting pathetic. Its hard to watch.

the only leeway that I'll grant Adam is that he may just really need a rest right now, but that's grasping for anything.
Everytime I watch him and Downing play I just keep thinking of Hodgson. His whole time at Liverpool everyone said he's a fine manager, but just isn't Liverpool quality. They're the same to me. Fine players but when asked to be special players at a club with high aspirations, they just look out of their depth.
