Great win today in the CL.

I have to say I loved the heavy-metal football under Gaffer Klopp. But holy shite, Arne Man has these fuggers set up so good defensively against opponents. He’s not parking the bus AT ALL, just disciplined and calm.

And that (so far) makes me happy. We have the ability (and have) scored a good number of goals but, when Liverpool needs too, they are disciplined enough to see out a 1-nil game. PERFECT!

Im assuming he is talking about a combo of the 99 dead at the Hillsborough stadium and the Heysel Stadium incident where 39 Italian fans died trying to escape an attack by Liverpool fans that caused injuries and deaths of Juventus supporters.

Saw a stat today.
Arsenal have won almost 75% of their matches with Saliba on the pitch since he arrived but lost 6 of 11 without him in the lineup. Arteta was cryptic about Saka's chances of playing on Sunday but it sounds like a match time decision. We have an absolute gauntlet coming up the next 6 weeks.

@ Arsenal
@ Brighton - Carabao

Villa

Man City

We had them on their heels for a minute after Mo tied it up but in the end a draw is a fair result for both teams.

Now if we can just lose to Brighton at the AMEX on Wednesday then turn around and beat them on Saturday at Anfield.

Yeah we didn't play great. A draw was deserved.

I want our first look at a Nyoni-Endo-Morton midfield on Wednesday @ Brighton

Like to see Gomez, Quansah and Jaros all draw starts as well

Slott still hasn't lost away from home.

Gakpo always turns up for the Carabao matches. Good to see Lucho back in the goals as well.

Feel bad for Quansah...the first goal definitely his fault, second was just an unlucky deflected shot. And you you know getting subbed off so late was the salt in the wound
