Three man midfield seems like the way to go. That said I haven’t been overly impressed by Roca but I don’t watch every game like y’all do.

He’s the best midfield passer but has had a couple poor games since the restart. The stats dweebs love him. Him and Adams have had to play so much since Forshaw is always injured and Gyabi isn’t really ready yet

Did you fellas see that Ounahi is going to Marseille for only 10 million euros?
Makes you wonder if he was dead set on a destination and Angers just tried to get the fee up by playing Leeds and Napoli.
Pretty confused by this honestly since that number is much lower as to what both Leeds and Napoli had been quoted.
Edit: and I saw where Lalas was being a douche and saying that McKennie is too big for Leeds and should go some place to give American fans another team to follow.

Understand Leeds proposal for Weston McKennie is not permanent transfer — it’d be a loan move with buy clause
We’re gonna frick this up aren’t we

Radz doesn’t have the cash. Niners going to pay mucho for the transfer after takeover.

Is that a relegation safeguard or something, and if so why would Juve agree to it?
And the Ounahi deal is definitely weird.
ETA: Also Gordon to Newcastle will basically seal promotion for Everton right?

I think maybe they’re trying to limit the total spend to save some room to sign another couple players in summer. Trying to avoid an Everton or Leicester situation where we can’t spend unless we sell.
Then look at what Chelsea are doing so who the hell knows

Understand there’s optimism now for Weston McKennie to join Leeds. Talks are progressing well on loan with buy clause — positive contacts in the last hours. #LUFC #USMNT New round of talks will take place on Saturday to get the deal sealed.

Seems like these bastards just down red Bull and cocaine with the window on the horizon. Talks go on all the damn time.

Great center forward play from Bamford today

Paddy had some sweet touch passes today that have been one of the things missing for Leeds.
Really nice to see that back again, Rutter looks like he can provide that same sort of quality as well with his passes
Edit: and we got here we go’ed in the middle of the match. Can’t ask for a better start to the day

Little Phil Hay action this morning
quote:
As per Italian media, Diego Llorente set to sign for Roma. Loan to the end of the season with obligation which will see Leeds recoup at least the £18m they paid for him in 2020.
Sevette centre-back Diogo Monteiro in England to undergo a medical with Leeds today.
quote:
contract extension given to Llorente recently has maintained his value at that level. But clearly no longer in plans with Wober signed and Monteiro about to join.
quote:
told the obligation aspect is still to be finalised (Leeds want that in the deal). Will either be obligation or option for permanent. Llorente in Italy preparing to complete loan.
quote:
McKennie also here for his medical, along with Monteiro. Busy old day.

That Llorente news is great but also a little surprising given the numbers at the position and Koch being suspended this weekend. I assume it means the new kid is going to be involved right away.

Or maybe Wober was never signed with the intention of being a left back
