Bielsa was sacked in late February. Which is where this little run of winnable games takes us. We’ve gotta win at least a couple of the forest-everton-southampton games coming up or we might leave it too late. Another recent Marsch faux pas was speaking about the “advantage” Vincent Kompany had taking over a relegated Burnley as it allowed him an easier path to install his way of playing. I really hope we aren’t saying “well, frick it. If we go down it’ll give us an easier way of adapting to these methods.” Yea frick that. We go down and you have to almost totally overhaul the squad and the fans will be devastated. It took so much to get back here. This has to be the moment where we really move away from the drop zone
I really hope we’re safe by our last 4 games. After Bournemouth away to start may we get:
City (potentially still in title race)
Newcastle (probably playing for champions league or some type of European place)
West ham (potential relegation six pointer)
Tottenham (see Newcastle)

Cody Drameh's loan exit about there. Leeds United expecting to send him to Luton Town for the rest of the season, as per @SkySportsLyall.

Still baffles me they haven’t given Drameh more run (or any) with the first team given how ineffective Rasmus has been

Here is tWham stadium, where we’ll play on Saturday

I imagine the PA blast “Wake Me up Before You Go-Go” to get everyone hyped prior to kickoff

S when you have time can you break down what Jesse said in the press conference in regard to width and that sign? I don’t know enough about tactics to make sense of it, but he did say that is actually a Pep principle. He definitely has rabbit ears on par with Ed Orgeron, he just doesn’t have a Ponamsky to try and control the narrative
Other notes are that Coop and Adams are questionable for Saturday. Koch is a possibility but he also said they may want to prepare for Forest when he won’t be available. Sounds like Wöber at CB again, maybe with Llorente.
Rutter is likely to start, and he mentioned Rodrigo may need a rest. Maybe we see Willy, Bamford, Rutter across the front?

I didn’t hear the whole thing just the little clip where he says “the goal is in the middle, not on the sideline” erm yea of course it is. Not like good wide play has ever contributed to goals i guess
I lol’d when someone said to bring back tTranslator as a filter for him. It’s definitely a pep strategy (someone posted a clip of pep talking about it) but when you are at barca, bayern and city with those players you can do what you want.
Looks like McKennie or Ounahi will come down to the wire as both clubs are playing hardball over the fee

Pending a medical, Sunderland have won the race for Joe Gelhardt. They and Leeds in agreement over the terms of a half-season loan.
Gelhardt minded to head to Wigan last week. But Sunderland

Damn wigan fans will be sad. Seemed like he was a lock to go there. GOATunderland should be good for him tho

Woke up before my normal weekday alarm went off. Thought it was Saturday morning so I got up ready to watch Leeds in a couple hours.
Only to be soul crushing disappointed when my normal wake up for work alarm went off 30 minutes later. I am now super sad that I have to go to the office today. Things are not off to a good start Lads.

Obviously the “minimal width” part of this has been a big discussion point, but “shifting and pumping” has drawn a lot of attention on the TSB and Phil pods

The most Bielsa thing ever: flies all the way to England to tell Everton “I’m not sure the timing is right BUT if you want I’ll coach your under 21s until the end of the season.”

Do y’all expect McKennie to be a starter, and if so does Jesse change the formation?

I have been curious on this as well. How do you get Adams, WM, and Roca on the field together?
