Shanahan has worn a Leeds hat and a Leeds pullover at times for press conferences throughout the season so it’s probably just nothing. People saying the niners hoodie + 24 jersey means they’re completing tTakeover in ‘24

Raphinha realizing Deco screwed him out of the best time of his life in Leeds.

#ComeHomeRaph

Edit: just saw Barca is reportedly slapping a 100 million euro (88ish million pound) price tag on Raph. They really think they can flip him for a 30 million dollar profit when they have not been satisfied by his form after only 6 months?

Had there been any updates on Sinisterra and when he might be back in the side?

With the signing of Rutter the attacking up front seems to have been addressed pretty well having

Rodrigo
Bamford (even if part time)
Rutter

Harrison
Willy
Summy
Sinisterra

To me seems like they can maybe use another defender in addition to the midfielder they are currently working. Still so surprised they extended Diago, but I dunno maybe he is good squad depth.

As stated by MOT earlier the makeup of the team could be changed pretty drastically in this window.

Point of all that is that at least let’s say Marsch can’t get the ship turned round and getting the results needed. At least the next manager will have some talented folks to work with, not like this is a championship side are anything.

Sini is supposed to be back in training either this week or next so he’s getting close. We’re legitimately in for Ounahi but Angers wants him back on loan for the rest of the season so that’s holding things up.

We need a starting center back. Two new starting center backs would be ideal.

Info: Jesse Marsch Selon nos informations, les dirigeants de Leeds songent à remplacer le technicien américain. Même si rien n'est encore acté, les Peacocks ont déjà établi une short list de plusieurs noms.

Cooper picked up a slight injury in training and it sounds like he is likely out tomorrow, and with our luck probably Sunday also.

Sinisterra trained yesterday so maybe he’ll be back by the end of the month.

Boreham Wood v Accrington postponed to next week due to a frozen pitch.

Pirate needs a break and you have to assume Wober will be in, so the decision appears to be Llorente or Firpo.

Has anyone played right center back this season besides Koch? I read today that he’s up against a suspension for yellow card accumulation going into Brentford, along with Kristensen and Roca.

Llorente SZN on Wednesday, gotta keep things interesting.

Seems to me Marsch needs a win Wednesday and at least a draw with a good performance Sunday.

Yea you can’t lose to cardiff at home. Needs to be a dominant slumpbuster performance like the second half of the first leg.

Jesse has said they’re close to naming Jackson’s replacement for like two weeks now. Any chance management is slow playing it because he could be sacked any day now?

That’s what it feels like.

Sini did the “matchday” instagram story most of tLads do when they’re due to play so we’ll have him tonight

With the current squad, injuries, etc, what do y’all think is a realistic position? I don’t get why they would want to fire him already but maybe I’m being naive.

Not a Leeds fan but I've watched a lot of matches. The issues I see as an outsider:

1. They play so damn narrow that it takes great interplay to create chances.

2. Center backs are really prone to errors

3. A ball into the channels is always on against Leeds leading to counterattacking goals. Switching play rapidly can undress them quickly as they commit a lot of men forward.

S and MOT can probably give more detail but that's what I see.

That’s pretty accurate. Then some of the comments lately are just fanning the flames like “i don’t care if we lose, as long as we perform well.” A lot of fans were patient but now he’s giving them Ted Lasso American buzzword guy. The narrow system doesn’t work in this league. Rangnick tried it at man utd and Southampton was all over the place under Ralph. 75% of the goals we concede are from a quick switch to a wide open unmarked guy at the backpost. I want it to work out for Jesse since he had the balls to take the job in the worst possible moment as if following Bielsa wasn’t already going to be hard enough. But he needs to get some wins together quickly. Emery and De Zerbi already have their teams playing well and he’s already going on 11 months so “time” isn’t really an excuse anymore. We have a pretty good squad that should realistically finish 10-15 without much relegation stress but we’re pretty much right where we were last season.

After losing Philips and Raphinha, and also Dallas on a long term injury and Bamford unhealthy, seems like y’all are doing ok table wise all things considered.
