Someone needs to bring back the compilation of Bamford misses set to the titanic recorder fail music. I have never laughed so hard. Right after it went viral he found his form and started scoring which would be nice right about now.

With that win in my mind it pretty much cements Jesse being with Leeds through the World Cup break and likely into the January transfer window (unless they some how go completely tits up over the 4 EPL matches prior to window).
Do you lads think the board pulls the trigger and bring in a striker and left back for Jesse?

I would never say this too loudly on Leeds Twitter but between Pat, Rodrigo, Joffy and now Gnonto i think we are well suited at striker, even if Rod and Willy aren’t traditional strikers. Now if there is a player similar in profile to Bamford i would look at that because when he’s missing you see the effect it has. Even if he’s flubbing chances the outlet he gives especially on the counter and his movement is unmatched in the current squad.
I would look at a LB for sure but Struijk seems to have cemented that spot. Firpo as a backup isn’t too bad.
Saw a report Forshaw will likely leave in January
a true TYFYS to him

I still don’t understand why they haven’t given Joffy more run this season.
I know he was nicked up a bit, but surely he deserves more than a token 6-8 minute sub minutes at the end of matches.

Tyler Adams gets it - TSB

Whole article is worth a read

Walking down the tunnel after victory at Anfield, Adams coined a phrase that should be translated into Latin and printed in a script on every away shirt Leeds release in the future. “Three points — let’s get the frick out of here.” Getting out of Anfield meant he could get back to Leeds, a sentiment Batty would no doubt approve of. There are few greater badges of honour for a Leeds United midfielder, and that’s the ultimate proof Tyler Adams gets it.

Good article. Thanks for posting! The boys should be flying this weekend and Elland Road rocking. Boy how nice it would be to jump out to a 2-0 lead and cruise to a 4-1 win.

Luis has a foot injury, more than we originally thought. A specialist looked at it, and they worry that it could be a Lisfranc injury. Probably out until after the World Cup break.
Guess Summy and Willy are going to have to pick up the slack

Sucks for him and the team. Good thing Summerville has arrived on tScene

Hopefully it isn’t the full one that will keep him out a while. They think it might be partially torn and not ruptured.

So basically we have a striker who can move but can’t finish and another one who can finish but can’t move.

A bad Lisfranc destroyed Sebastian Lletget’s career imo. He wasn’t super quick to begin with but had a decent speed, now he’s slow as molasses. Maybe it’s harder to run with a bunch of nails in your foot.
