Bedoya on the foul leading to Toronto's penalty: "Knowing Jozy, he tends to go down easy in the box, so let's just leave it at that."
Jozy's tweet response
Nice comment pal @AleBedoya17. You have a lot to say but never to anyones face. Im surprised.. but I shouldn't be.

Bedoya is on his way out of the national pool anyway.

Didn't Bedoya straight up call out Wambach too?
Guy doesn't have a shy mouth. I'll always respect him for that.

Bedoyas response
It's a shame quotes get taken out of context. All love man. Congrats on your goal and see you soon bro.

Huh? Just stating a fact, we got a lot of young wingers coming through the ranks.

Interesting... Unless the source straight up misquoted him, it's going to be hard for Bedoya to spin "goes down easy in the box" as anything but a negative towards Jozy.

Ironically enough, it was a joint effort by both him and Jozy after Wambach got the DUI.

Bedoya has been huge for us just in terms of doing the "dirty work" on both ends of the pitch and Jozy is our best striker.

Which says a lot about the quality of the roster.

Nothing like the classic tag teaming of a dyke

Serious question, did anyone watch the match today? I work for the Union so I'm biased...but I also have loved Jozy for years. More and more lately Jozy has been flopping. It's getting a little absurd even on the national team.
Let me give you a rundown of what happened today:
10th minute, Union had a lovely play, we scored.
Later, we had an OBVIOUS foul on the edge of the box, the ref awarded the PK. Bedoya took it and fricked it up royally.
10 minutes later, Toronto had a set piece from about 45 yards away, Bradley kicked it about 15 yards away from where Jozy was...Jozy ran into a Union player, the second he touched him he fell down and waved his hands in the air. It was not CLOSE to a PK.
Although I wanted the Union to win, I'm a fair player. I hate when our players flop, I agree many times when our players do something dumb or when they should get carded and don't. But what Jozy did today was honestly almost comical. It's part of the reason soccer is being held back in America. People in America are tough and we hate floppers. Lebron James gets shite for flopping in basketball, many people hate how soft football is getting, they definitely hate how much flopping other countries do. Jozy was absolutely shut down the 1st half of the game, so all he started to do was flop and it was fricking pathetic

The way he played the 1st half today was honestly embarrassing that he could potentially be our best striker for the US. I have loved Jozy, but he is the James Harden of MLS. He relies on turning his back to goal, have someone give a little pressure, crumble to his knees, then he or giovinco get a free kick goal from 30 yards out.
He has remarkable ability, and all he wants to do is flop

Just reading through the comments in this thread again...Jozy was a total pussy today. Bedoya has many faults, but he's made a living for being one of the toughest players for the US national team. Jozy is a pussy who could be a man if he wanted

Dude, relax... soccer players flop, Jozy does it, Bedoya does it, everyone does it.
Quit acting like Jozy disgraced the game.
