A cool 20 mil brah. Ah, shite, I don't really know. He is American and I think that still negatively affects his perceived value. My sofascore app says he's worth 6.4 mil euros, which seems low given his ceiling.

Current market value on transfermarkt has him at 7 million euros. But he's 23 and has a contract until 2019 so that's probably more like 15

Does the American aspect lessen his perceived skill value but heighten his overall value?

I would think having an American on a more visible team would drive more Americans new to the sport to "choose" that team to follow.

I am relatively new to following the club side of the sport (last 3-4 years), but has that happened? It's a different country (Mexico) but I think Leverkusen had a fair bump in both coverage and following after the successful transfer of Chicharito.
