He broke it when he smacked into Bedoya when they both looked like they wanted to take a shot on goal from just outside the 18. Late in the Germany game.

He hasn't even been playing lately. His last outing with the US was a tale of two halves. His first half was really poor, but in the second he made some really good plays and limited mistakes. No, I don't remember the exact game. And I know it's just the championship, but he apparently did really well with Barnsley before making a stupid mistake.
