I agreed with Low’s decision frankly.

I'm not trying to play Monday morning quarterback, but that was the type of game that Sane could have been very useful.

At times, the German side lacked pace and creativity. Two things Sane brings.

Like you, I think Germany will bounce back and play deep into the tournament.

Imho Argentina is worse off than Germany. Croatia might beat them.

Argentina may not escape the group but neither Croatia nor Nigeria look good right now. Nigeria's defense was laughable against Croatia.

They looked sluggish against Mexico
Almost slow even
Seemed like they were constantly racing back to catch up to a Speedy Gonzalez streaking down the pasture

They have multiple paths to the next round, and realistically they're a lock if they beat Sweden.

There are 2 problems with Sane.

1) With City, he's inconsistent as frick. When he's on, he's a world beater but you never know which Leroy you're gonna get.

2) While I haven't watched a ton of German matches, he's been pretty pedestrian from what I've seen.

Very viable side. Still alive, still a favourite.
