A video clip widely distributed on social media appears to show City players and other members of the club singing a version of an anti-Liverpool song popular with Manchester fans this season. The chant seems to reference Liverpool fans as "crying in the stands, and battered in the streets" who are "victims of it all". In recent seasons the two clubs have become intense rivals. Last season, Liverpool reached the Champions League final after beating City in the quarterfinals. This season, Liverpool pushed City all the way in the Premier League title race, before falling short on the final day of the season

just won the league, and we’re still in their heads

Choked it away with 97 points?

If you think 97 points is choking, what do you call getting knocked out of the CL quarters two years in a row?

Tottenham is proud to pass the mantle of “Putting the pressure on” to Liverpool.
Congrats guys, you earned it.

Vincent Kompany injured Salah in Kiev?
And it sure seems to make you happy dancing on the graves of innocent people.

The original song used Ramos
That’s not what the song is about
Offended by everything ashamed of nothing

So you’re saying they changed it? Interesting.

Not what I’m talking about, you count.
YOU know where “always the victim” came from.
If you don’t, you’re not near as smart as you like to pretend you are.

Yea Liverpool fans murdered 39 Juve fans and then tried to play the victim as they were attacked first
And then club officials blaming it on Chelsea fans
Do you need more of a history lesson
How about Liverpool fans playing victim all the time in recent history when something happens
Trying to blame Evra for that racist cheating c*nt Suarez instead of accepting Suarez was at fault
Or defending him after he was biting people
I could go on and on
There is a reason supporters at every other club call Liverpool fans that
This is from the Liverpool end that tragic day in Belgium look at those Munich banners clear as day.
Don't throw stones in a glass house.

Yeah, I figured you’d attempt to slime yourself right out of it when you were called on it.
Not surprising.
Enjoy the Europa League qualifying rounds.

Nice to see you can’t argue facts of the situation
Once again offended by everything ashamed of nothing
Guess who got English clubs banned from Europe
Maybe you want to smash up City’s team bus again and have your fans act like it’s no big deal
But my lord City sings a song mocking Liverpool and it’s a massive deal

To put it in context, city players have been having to answer questions about Liverpool all season from the Liverpool sycophants in the media.

should have had 99
Man City ended with 98 points.
Under your standard above, how many "should" they have had above that?
Man City lost to Newcastle and Crystal Palace, so they "should" have had 104 points according to your standard above, correct?
"Buts", "ifs", and "should haves" mean jack, jack. Man City ended with the most points and won the league because they were the better team over a 38 game season, period.
