I am so exhausted.

DiMaria was on too long. Sampaoli's substitution strategy still baffles me.

I'm with you on Iceland. They're an awful team to watch.

"strategy" is being generous. He's a teenage girl.

I don't think Sampaoli has any strategy, much less one for substitutions.

Spain-Croatia in the quarters is something I need to see.

Their U-17 team also won the U-17 WC, so they might have a couple of players breakthrough from that, which they would need. They'll be solid at most of their positions except for replacing Mikel.

Agree to disagree.

It still baffles me what little Iceland can do compared to America.

I've been saying since Match 1 that DiMaria either needs to be subbed on or taken out around the 60th minute. He played well though.

Mascherano....never wanted him called up. Played terrible in the first half, the penalty, but made some good decisions in the final minutes.

Sampaoli has to get Dybala on the field.

Not sayin it isn’t impressive, but their qualifying group was nothing crazy.

Croatia was the only above average side in their group along with Ukraine who is in the middle of changing their guard and Turkey who is in complete disarray. Finland and Kosovo aren’t really even worth mentioning.

I would expect the US to get out of that group as well, but suck arse against teams we should steamroll.

Argentina should pick up a manager on loan from one of the countries that have been eliminated

Croatia only has a population of 4+ million. They just swept their group. That's more amazing than Iceland.

Also, Croatia gets like 1-2 minutes of breakdown on Fox Sports. Even though they beat a solid Iceland team while resting most of their starters.
