Please be true. I feel really bad for the Everton fans though.

I have no beef with Everton except for the two times a year we play them but sometimes lambs have to be slaughtered for the greater good.

Any rumors on who would take the USA gig?

If this pans out, I would bring Bruce back. He'd probably be the best choice to take over mid-cycle, then hire someone like Vermes, Kreis etc. after Russia.

new link and mention of no contact with Jurgen. Now from another espn reporter:

LINK

but of course that doesn't mean that Everton and JK haven't talked.

I like Bruce but I would prefer a manager who is not openly hostile towards our dual national players.

Me and Stewie are waving the flag for Caleb Porter sometime.

I liked him better before he took a good group of players in Olympics qualifying and totally screwed the pooch.

I honestly think there's real heat to this one. Between his real estate moves, the relationship with the supporters, and now this, there's at least some discussion going on in my mind.

Porter's a completely different coach now. He's really transformed himself from a guy with ideas to a good coach. He gave up his forced possession tactics and really kind of evolved his tactics to make Portland a good counter attacking team.

Mmhmm.

And I'm starting to think our U-23s are just cursed.

Portland are fun to watch, and they just won the championship so I guess I've got to give him some credit. I've just been skeptical since then, at least as an international manager.
