It's honestly pretty simple to me -
She can fight and protest in almost all areas of her life, who cares
She shouldn't wear our colors and flag in an international competition and protest said colors and flag
If she can't muster enough American pride and appreciation to respond "no comment" and mouth the words to our anthem for a month every four years, then she should frick off and find something else to do.
I feel the same way about Olympians. The US isn't Iran where being vocal about issues is something you don't have the opportunity to do unless you've left the state for a while. She can bitch and moan and scream dumb platitudes all she likes when she's not representing her country.

I see where you're coming from, but I liken it to Gary Neville and GSTQ. In Euro 96, he might have been the only one in Wembley not to sing it out loud. Doesn't negate his talent and desire to play for his country.

The thing I do not get is if you do not want to stand and put your hand over your heart for our national anthem and disrespect everything about the USA then way in the hell would you want to play for the USA national team.
