seriously, what sports are you into now and what teams do you like from those sports, maybe we can find an equvalent?

lol! i'm not sure what jozy's fate will be. anyone? i just know villareal loaned him out. if you like espana (who plays chile friday), you'll love la liga. just don't pick bartha and we'll be good.

You need to just watch and pick one for yourself. Find out which team you really have that connection to. It'll come. As long as it isn't Manchester United I'm ok with it.
I root for DC United and Leeds. With Leeds still otuside the Premiership, I tend to pull for Fullham due to their Amercan connection.

The best advice I can give you is to watch a lot of soccer before you decide.

Didn't know Ronnie worked for DC. Used to go to games all of the time when I worked in DC.

From the banks of the River Irwell
To the shores of Sicily,
We will fight, fight, fight for United
'Till we win the Football League...
To hell with Liverpool,
To hell with Man City - (They're sh*t!)

Honestly, finding a player to follow will help tremendously in adopting a team. 4 years ago I became a huge cristiano ronaldo fan. When i started watching the EPL I was trying to figure out which team I wanted to pull for and saw Ronaldo playing for Manchester United, been a fan since. I also have a soft spot in my heart for Reading, for some reason, but I'm not really sure why that is.

EPL: Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur (my current team)

this really is the best way. that's how i found real madrid.
if you like jozy, just follow his team. if it ends up you don't like them, you can probably pick out a team you do like from when they play. that's how i became a fan of valencia and sevilla as well.

what's the best way to learn the "structure" of Soccer?
What I think I know:
FIFA - made up of 6 basically continental groups
Most countries have a series of leagues
Top leagues are in Eurozone: EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundeswhatever
Each league plays for a championship
The winners of these leagues play every so often for the Euro Cup?
