As previously aforementioned, the club finds you, you do not look for the club to support. For me, four years ago I was entranced by Thierry Henry because we share the same last name (and he could straight ball). I started watching Arsenal matches when I could and fell in love with the Gooners. Henry left after the 06-07 season, but I decided to remain a fan after watching a spirited group of promising youngsters. Hopefull Wenger can nab an American to please me when I go to Hull for study abroad next year.

I pull for Chelsea cause I liked them when they sucked. Also because my sisters favorite is Liverpool and it pisses her off. Chelsea are similar to LSU football in that they got a new head honcho and started kicking arse and taking names.
I also like dc united because they're the only mls team I've seen live, and I used to like Luciano Emilio's style!
But I agree, the difference between mls and epl is like lsu playing the worst football team in division 3.

I used to watch Fox Sports World growing up and Man U games were almost always on so they became my fave team
