I started the decade as a Blackpool fan. They were a surprise Premier League club under Ian Holloway and were fun to watch, often playing a manic end to end style. Unfortunately, defense tended to be an afterthought and the PL stay was a short one. They soon lost Ollie and they've been a dumpster fire since.
If you like compelling stories, AFC Bournemouth is a good choice.

Sadly, Ian Holloway is more of a promotion specialist than a season-long Premier League type of manager. Small club, Blackpool, were redeveloping the ground at the same time, too. Kind of sad to lose them.

As long as it isn't Liverpool you should be alright.
As you can see in this thread they are unbearable, especially for a club that hasn't won shite.
