You have to remember that each country has its own football structure. What you typically see is the highest division of football within that country.
England's top flight - the Premier League - is easily the most accessible in the US. Even with the new MLS deal next year, EPL is more accessible to US fans.
Spain and Germany, to me, have more technically sound, entertaining leagues. This is to take nothing at all away from the EPL. My favorite club - Fulham - is in the EPL....oh, shite. frick. frick. frick.
So, there is this second division in England called the Championship...

I'm not even shitting on the bundesliga (I don't even have a preference between the two leagues) at all, so I don't know why you're being so obtuse about this.

Yeah. I think it is, especially for newcomers. Given everything from name players, to crowd involvement, to big name clubs.
I mean, I love the Bundesliga also, but most people don't know or care to watch mid level teams from there. And Serie A has all the empty stadiums.
I think as other leagues get better TV deals in the states, that could change, but for now EPL is the most exciting for me to watch.
eta - actually, Ligue 1 is the most exciting to me, but it's harder to find their matches on TV.

I'm not being obtuse. I watch plenty of Premier League games without a rooting interest. I'd say at least half the games, I wouldn't characterize "attacking." There are a couple of teams who play an entertaining style.
But if I'm going to watch a random PL game, I know going in that at least one of the teams is going to bore me.

If you want to watch most matches live, you'll have to get up early. Depending on when you're scrolling through or what time slots you're looking at, that may be why you're not seeing any.

I just set every game to record on every channel. Then go all recluse with CFB, NFL and soccer for the weekend.

Premier League is easiest for you to watch. Start with it
Try to watch the Champions League and find a team from another league you want to watch if you want to move beyond the Premier League

But the league wasn't over in March. That is why it is exciting. There are usually 3 or 4 teams that have a shot.

That's an outlier of a season. Every league has their dominant teams. For example you know going into a PL season that only Chelsea, Man City or Man Utd have a shot of winning the league.

History tells me that only those 3 teams are going to win. As far as last year, I think even Arsenal fans will admit they were fool's gold with no depth in the midfield, an average striker and a holes in the defense.

It will be interesting to see the reaction some have in the U.S. to the Bundesliga when it gets the EPL treatment on FOX with the new TV contract. Every match etc.
