These threads always turn into that giving someone shite a bout picking a team. Every. single. time.

OP, the standard answer is try just watching some games throughout the season and you'll naturally start to gravitate towards specific teams and go from there. Who cares who you pick. Basically everyone here just picked their club anyway so who cares as long as you feel attached to them

You need to calm down.

If you choose Tottenham I will come to your house and beat you to death with a giant salami. (Lol) Their mascot is either a chicken or a big cock, what else do I need to say.

If you like to watch underperforming stars that play just well enough to keep you interested, before choking it all away and are a glutton for punishment then you can cheer for Arsenal with us. Plus a natural hated for cocky chickens like rotten scham.

Do not pick one based on a player. They move too often.

Real Madrid, those guys are the nazi ss of soccer. Do you know it used to be a capital offense to sing fight song or wear their colors.

Fun young players maybe Everton

We've got a few.

Plus we've got that consistent disappointment always saying "next year" that LSU fans know and love, so it's an easy transition for OP

Everton is that team that’s big enough to make run every season but don’t but small enough for their fans to immediately point out that you’re a top 6 fan. Basically there’s 7 teams the majority of USA fans root for. I’m an Arsenal fan.

But since no one else is helping out... Crystal Palace, their fans are WILD but they only have 2-3 quality players but the team is scrappy but they suck. Wildcard team would be Newcastle, promoted last year, didn’t do half bad, and have Yedlin. Lastly Leicester City. They went on an unexpected run a few years ago.

The way I did it was researching the traditions/history of the club. Special characteristics or things that uniquely make that club who they are.

Ultimately, I chose Liverpool. The stadium atmosphere, "You'll Never Walk Alone", the spirit in their fight for the justice in the Hillsboro Disaster... It is a group that is absolutely ingrained by the culture of the club, and something cool to be a part of.

Also, it isn't Man United, which is always a good thing.
