If so, how hard is it to get tickets? Where do you recommend picking them up? I am going to Italy in April and hoping to catch the Atalanta/Napoli match.

It’s been 10 years since I attended a Serie A match, but getting tickets was easy. Walked right up to the ticket office at the stadium and purchased some. Was easy.

Thanks! I hope it’s still that easy! Anybody else with any experiences with Serie A? Right now, as the table currently sits, this would be 2 versus 5 and looks like a pretty popular matchup. The only bigger matchup that day is Inter and Juve and online those tickets look extremely expensive.

Someone on here has been to San Siro for an Inter game. I’m sure they’ll chime in.

Inter vs Juve is the biggest Derby in Italy and will potentially be Juve looking to spoil Inter’s repeat Scudetto. Would be an awesome game to go to, but will definitely be expensive.

Went to Swansea/West Ham a few years ago at London Stadium when I was in town for Saints game

Dad and I got tickets like an hour before the match no problem. 0-0 until West Ham scored in stoppage to save it. Fun atmosphere even though it wasn’t the Boleyn Ground

Went 5 years ago-
Bought tickets to Chelsea and Bournemouth outside
Stanford Bridge

Three days later had ordered tickets weeks before
for Liverpool Man City New years eve and the tickets
hit my hotel four hours before the game. I was nervous wreck. They were all expensive

I plan to catch a WHU game within the next year or so. I know they're a lot better than they were a few years ago so I'm sure there's more demand for the tickets but they still don't seem like they should be too hard to come by. Especially if it's against a team lower on the table.

Yes how to get tickets depends on what league and club you are trying to buy tickets for.

When I went, we didn't need no stinkin' tickets. We climbed the fence to a sold out match. Downside was we didn't sit or watch for more than three or four minutes at a stretch.

I went to a 2017/2018 UCL match between Barcelona and Sporting CP. Tickets were pretty easy to get outside of the Barcelona stadium prior to the match. I think it had to do with the opponent and it being a weeknight match.

Best bet is to go through the club. They don’t have a ticket reselling culture over there.

Is there a way to do that online or do you have to go directly to the stadium?

I got tickets to West Ham v. Wolves at London Stadium in 2020. The match was on March 15 or 16, but the whole world shut down that week, and the trip to London was canceled. They mailed me a paper ticket, which I still have.
Two years later, trip rescheduled. Got tix in two weeks to see West Ham v…..you guessed it, Wolves. This time just a e-ticket.

Had to join the supporters’ club, but that was free. Tickets fairly easy to get, but not great seats. Looking forward to it.

I went to West Ham 5 years ago, not bad but a little sterile. They’ve made changes to the layout since then and I’ve read it’s better. It’s a hike from the train station so be prepared.

I’m going back over for a few weeks at the end of March. Going to try to hit 5-6 games while I’m there. Will be my 3rd trip.

All West Ham games or just bouncing around to different venues?

No I don’t care about West Ham, just wanted to see the Olympic stadium and it worked out that they had a home match the day before my flight back last time.

Going to Newcastle again (also against Wolves funnily enough), and waiting on TV picks to firm up the other games. I’ve already been to Liverpool, Arsenal, West Ham, and QPR plus toured a few others so looking for something different.

The Old Firm is a few days after I arrive so I may go up there just to be around it, not deluded into thinking I’ll actually get in.

Also should be some European options and the Fa Cup Semi finals are right before I go back. Forrest, Middlesborough, and Wednesday also possibilities. Villa host Liverpool my last weekend as well but expecting that to probably be moved to a time that wouldn’t make sense for catching my flight.

Hoping the weekend I see Newcastle there will be a couple good options that Sunday/Monday. City are hosting Liverpool so that could get moved but I wonder if they would if one or both are away in the CL a a few days later.

I’ve got a pretty good amount saved up so should be able to do a lot.

Dunno why this is getting down voted bc it’s the absolute truth

Tickets being found resold over face value in England get cancelled by the club

Agreed.

Also note that you must follow the home team dress code, so no opposing colors will be allowed.
