That game was painful to watch. We played the whole game with buttholes clinched and couldn't make simple passes. Our offense has no vision and can't ever make the right pass fast enough. Johannsen (sp?) does not have what it takes and we are screwed if Altidore can't come back or gets hurt again.

We were lucky to get the win, but let's just say that it was our turn for luck. I hope the guys relax and play smart soccer from here on out.

I think he is better running out of the back instead of playing in the tip of the diamond.

He ended up playing pretty deep, partially because we were having the ball shoved down our throats, but I think that he was playing more or less even with Beckerman by design, as well (like Turkey 2nd half)

Honestly, don't really give a shite. Not worried about his performance. He deserves a mulligan, and we won, so frick everything right now

Yea, I know we aren't changing, unless losing Jozy makes us tweak our formation.

These Portuguese will not rualsoke those damn Ghanaians did.

Bedoya played his azz off on defense also.

I think Wondo gets the start.

Bedoya was a hero tonight.

Bradley has only looked good in spurts ever since the second half of the Mex friendly.
Needs to sit deeper IMO. Would appreciate a rebuttal to that.

Disagree with the Bacon part. He was tossed out there unexpectedly and was shaky early on. But the 2nd half he had some nice moments for us. Specifically playing the ball down to his feet, staying patient and letting it set up, then making some very nice passes to our wings on the outside in space, which turned into crosses being sent in and opportunities for us. He was far from the worst out there today. And wasn't expecting to see that much time.

If Jozy is out, we aren't screwed because we still have Dempsey, who is our best forward by far. I just want someone that Dempsey is most comfortable with and on the same page with. Oh and Bacon >>>> Wondo.

I have no clue how you can make that statement after watching that match.

We actually made some creative plays going forward, which is more than I can say about past USA teams.

He holds the ball too long and tries to dribble through people, but doesn't have the skill to do it. Sure he made a few decent passes. Everyone on the team did.

Great win! I think Ghana technically has better players I.e. Guys at top clubs but the US is always all heart.

I know we disagree a good bit, but you are right about Bradley. MB90 is a great box to box and he does better with more defensive responsibilities. However, I like starting both Jermaine and Kyle and we do not have the arsenal to pnot play them both. I don't know what to do against Portugal, especially if we losing Jozy.

Clint is at the post-game PC.

Sounds super stuffed up and he said he is pretty sure his nose is broken.

Said he was coughing up blood during the match and could barely breathe.

This is very worrying. I imagine this will impact his stamina in the next 2 games, and we certainly don't have much depth up top.

So he'll start walking in the 35th minute instead of the 60th?
