Bad first 10 mins. Good defense the rest of the way.

45 minutes.

Brad Davis is woefully overmatched at this level.

My pants parts are tingly thinking about the round of 16.

So far, this has been "gray hairs level" stress. Let's avoid "hair falling out level" for another half.

Rex. I agree with your assessment. Now excuse me. I need to go throw up brush my teeth swallow a gallon of mouthwash and go take a 30 minute shower.

Germany started very good. Held almot 70% of possession in first 20 or so minutes. USA kept them out of goal. USA started picking spots and attacking and looked pretty good. No really excellent chances for USA but a couple half chances. Germany has had a couple good chances but Howard made them look like little bitches.

it's odd because he sucks and looks terrible off the ball. then when on the ball, he is making the right decision.

btw, we must really like in swingers off corners if zusi took that one over davis. jesus.

Germans owned first 15 minutes but USA settled down and held on. Pretty even from there 0-0 at half

If we win or draw against Germany, we advance.

If we lose, but Portugal and Ghana draw, we advance.

If we lose, and either Portugal or Ghana win, we need to maintain goal differential (currently +4 on Portugal, +3 on Ghana).

We started off looking like we were gonna get our doors blown off but we look a lot better. Germany still getting more chances though

We got dominated in the first 10 minutes. Pouring rain.
We recovered to mount some counter attacks of our own. We had a couple of scoring chances but never threatened.
