Chile tried to get Ecuador bounced from the WC and take their spot because they argued they played an ineligible player. FIFA said we aren’t kicking them out but then they penalize them for 2026 and Ecuador doesn’t bring the player to the World Cup

A bit of a shame that Ecuador couldn't beat The Dutch but that's the sort of shite that happens when you can't finish your chances.
