lets just face the facts. none of you bitches were gonna be happy with any kind of jersey

Loved the centennials. Loved the Waldo's. Even like the away's last year.

Hate both of these.

Peoplefricking hated the Waldoswhen they first came out. Funny how things change.

When they first came out, they didn't put numbers on them and just had big white boxes where they would go. That made them look pretty bad. Looked much better with numbers on them, but I don't think adding numbers and names will save this one.

If this is truly the away jersey, I think this may be the worst set of kits we wear in a World Cup since at least 1994.

To be honest though, Nike could have offered a free beej with each jersey purchase and you would have still been upset with it.

People just like to bitch about kits. The white one was always gonna be boring (or if not boring, ugly). The away was always gonna be ugly (or if not ugly, boring). There's only so much you can do. I agree I ended up really liking the hoops and wish we would have kept them, but we didn't and I'm sure these kits will grow on people.

I think we have historically had terrible jerseys, but I've loved the one's we've had over the past 5 years. It's like the didn't even try on these. Seems like the boss at Nike stuck his head in a cubicle and said, "Do you have those USMNT kits ready?" And the employee's reaction was, "Oh shite! I forgot!"

I was always high on the Waldos because I thought of them years ago, then Nike obviously stole the idea some kind of way.

I don't get what is so bad about these. At least the country's colors are visible.

ETA: Also, just thought about this. We are away, home, home for the WC. So these jerseys will pretty much only be worn for the first game (at least in the WC).

Have you seen France, England? Same exact thing.

You act like Nike has ever used a lot of imagination with national team shirts. Was it 2002 or 2006 when EVERY Nike team had those damn circles around the numbers?

I mean, I guess we could switch to Adidas and have piping and stripes all over it. Or switch to Puma and have some ridiculous watermarks and insets all over it.

We will wear them leading up to the WC and then for a year or two after.

France's kits have been pretty legit lately.
But hey, no matter how much you hate these jerseys you have to admit that they're miles ahead of Mexico's jerseys.

And the Netherlands home one:

I assumed Nike would be going simple with most of their World Cup designs after seeing the USMNT golf shirt compared to France, Netherlands, etc.

But this leaked road one is definitely something. Not awful, but it makes me want the Waldos and the Centennials.

I'm planning on buying that one. The black Euro 2012 one they had is one of my all-time favorites in my collection.

Maybe we should start going with Warrior. Then we could get something like these beauties...
