Just wanna say I fricking hate ea sports. I'm in division 4, and for the second time in as many games have outshot my opponent 16-6. I've lost 1-0 and 2-1. What pisses me off the most is that there's been 2 ping pong loose ball in the box goals off corners and a half volley goal from 30 yards, meanwhile in clunking it off the post from 6 yards out and having the keeper make saves when I'm 2 on 1 with him. Like at least try to fricking hide it, don't decide the game prior to kickoff

Yes I am mad online

Yeah, have had that happen to me a time or two... What really ticks me off is if I'm down a goal late, I'll change tactics and formations to get a better attacking threat, and get tons of chances but at least half the time the other GK turns into fricking jesus and saves everything or better yet, I'll have a great finisher (usually Coutinho or Firmino since I usually play with LFC) and they'll put multiple shots wide of the post from 6 yards out

No, but I've noticed that the computer seems dead set on scoring in the last 2 minutes of every damn half with ridiculous runs out of nowhere

I had a button lag clearance/shot from my side of midfield today playing against chelsea in a seasons cup match and Courtois came all the way out to the top of the penalty area and made this ridiculous looking save catch thing I almost had to pause the game because I was laughing so hard.

A long ball was played to the top of my 18 and my defender got his head to the ball, but it was going backwards and it would have been a corner for the other team. So I send my goalie out to go get it (was in the 18 so he could pick it up). My goalie does a crazy dive, half hits the ball with his hands sending the ball shooting back into the center of the 18 where his forward taps it in...

I've now played 148 FUT matches and have a goal differential of -4. that's 1.34 per match for, 1.36 against. incredible

Ok I got a late Christmas present of 17 and have started a career manager mode. I am interested in how to develop youth players and the older players with potential. What is the training strategy? I hate doing the training myself but the simulations get poor results. Do you try play your youth players?

I got 17 for Christmas & I never train my players. I thought about it, but it just seems to take too much time for me.
On a side note, I was able to get Aubameyang for super cheap

I sink a ton of time into manager mode every single year, including 3 completed Manager Modes in 2016 and one thus far in 17 (Meaning I finished all 15 seasons and played every single game, 5 minute halves).

What I've discovered works best in this year's game is to train YA players to the point of them being around 70-75 overall and then stop training them completely.

Last season training players too much would randomly stunt their physical stats, but I haven't experienced that at all in 17. I had 5-6 YA players reach 90+ overalls in my one completed MM this season and they all finished with solid physical stats, even if they sucked for 3-4 years, and by suck I mean were average physicals with shite stamina. They all eventually rounded out, including most of them being 90+ in speed/agility/acceleration.

I also NEVER trained myself. I just simmed it each week and didn't worry about what results I got. They're completely random.

I also played my youth players. If you're at a big club (I did my first one this year at Manchester City, like I always do), then I make it my goal to have an almost all YA squad by my 3-4 season. I try to start move in YA players by the time they're 70'ish overall into my first team/subs.

If anyone likes finding "hidden gems" players for super cheap (I like to because that's how Wenger built Arsenal back in the day) I found one heck of a steal at DM.

Remi Walter. CM from France. I think I paid €2M? (If even that much) for him and he's been a regular starter for me ever since. Even had offers for him that would've more than quadrupled my profit.

So I have played 3 games of FUT in the daily tournament. Once the guy quit before we started. I didn't get the win and it used contracts on all my players. Then I'm beating the guy in all stats. He is up 2-1 in the 60th but I have a more than decent chance to tie and take the lead. He quits and I get a loss. Is there no penalty for quitting while up?

Anyone ever accidentally sell a player? Barca wanted Goetze for something like £75m and I counter offered with £125m thinking they wouldn't accept it. They did

More often than not, I will counter with a ridiculously high offer. I figure why not because A) You get 10 fifa exp and B) Worst case scenario you get a ton of cash that can replace the player.

It's definitely happened to me before. Real Madrid bought a 20 year old striker from me for 90 mil when his value was less than 70, and I had Marseille of all teams give me double the valuation of one of my defenders.

The worst is when the Board sells a player without your input. I had Angel Correa's value up to about $80m with no signs of being unhappy (his mood was "very happy"), next thing I know the Board sells him to Manchester United for $30m.

Yes

It's happened to me more than once so far during this managerial season.

Also had a offer from Barca for Ozil for like £80m, I countered with £120m and they accepted like wtf man?

But luckily the deal fell through (there was only like a day or two left in the window)

The mood on the players is so annoying. I can't remember who it was, but I had my best starting RB randomly decide he wasn't happy and demanded to be transferred because he was "homesick". I didn't get to work the deal, the board just sold him and I didn't get near enough to replace him.

I do kind of like Wait For It and just counter with at least double their initial offer if it isn't someone I'm looking to move in the first place. I treat it as everyone being expendable for the right (extremely high) price.

Do the league scout emails annoy the shite out of anyone else? When your inbox gets 15+ new messages from 1 scout reporting on players. It seems like the game could recognize the scout and consolidate all of the reports into one email with a list of names like with the youth scouts or academy reports.
