:lol: cool, I’m glad you knew a few. NBA is not my jam, but I’ve searched for “shortest current NBA players” and consistently gotten 6’ for Patty Mills, Chris Paul, and Kyle Lowery. Color me shocked and happy to be wrong :dunno:
If he can get a legit shot then I’m very happy for him, but I’d hate for him to go and get stuck in g league. I also never think of rising seniors leaving early to go play overseas. I couldn’t blame him if the money is there though. I’m just not used to our players being legit prospects to go pro early I guess :lol: For so long it seems like we’ve only ever lost guys to graduation, transfers, weird midseason draft declarations, or scandals. This is definitely new and is going to take some getting used to :lol:

I just can’t imagine Harper is a legit NBA prospect. He’s 5’10” tops. No NBA team is going to give him a legit shot, right? I have to imagine he’d go straight to G league, in which case why not come back for another year of college? I guess if he thinks his stock won’t improve much more and he just needs to take his shot at the league, but I just don’t see it going well for him. Am I totally off base?

I 100% agree with you GenesChin. Fact is, we shot under 40% from the floor and lost the turnover battle. Sure, it absolutely sucks to lose like that, but we definitely didn’t play our best game tonight.

Look at flights into Madison or Chicago, then renting a car to drive the rest of the way. It’ll probably be way cheaper.

Well, to be fair, McLemore did try to showboat on an earlier tomahawk dunk attempt. He got a foul called, but could have easily just dunked it if he hadn’t gone for the tomahawk.
This. He has at least one opportunity every game where he could just go up strong and throw down a dunk, but instead goes for the lay in and misses.
Wiley has got to get better about going up strong with the ball. He gets it stripped way too much.
I don’t know how anyone is supposed to know how to play when the refs are bipolar like this. The first 10 of the half they were letting them murder each other, and now everything is a foul.
You know what, idgaf. I’ll take the W all day, regardless of how ugly it was. WDE! Going to the round of 32. Hopefully we’ll get rid of some of the nerves after tonight and play a little more loose Sunday.

To me, it actually speaks to our depth/development that we were able to go 25-6 with 2 starters suspended before the season.
