Really bulky and cumbersome. I felt like in 13 they finally had manager mode good and streamlined. Now its back to being meh.
I'm sure some will hate the new transfer system as well. Can't look up or sort players by overall. You have to scout them to see what they rate.

You can specify criteria for them to look for. Not sure to what extent because I didn't bother looking, but it seems fairly thorough.

I'm on the fence. I get why they did it, but it is offline mode and some people will want to 'just play'. I normally look at the detailed ratings to make sure a guy fits what I'm looking for but it was nice to have a decent reference point and not have to wade through the crap. I like the idea of scouting possible transfers but it hasn't worked well for me so far. I'm playing as Citeh and all my 'transfer scouts' are 3/5 stars to start. I sent 1 scout each to Argentina, Italy, Spain, and Germany. The criteria was the same for all 4 scouts. I wanted a defense player, age 16-24, that is a "promising prospect". I'm about 15 weeks in and the Spanish scout has given me 3 players. The rest just keep e-mailing me "haven't seen anything boss". Kind of frustrating that they made it this thorough and time-consuming and I haven't had any results.

Yep. You can't search as detailed as you could in previous years though. They really force you to rely HEAVILY on the scouting system.
I haven't seen any absurd transfers yet though, so that's good. Most of the big names have stayed with their club.

This is good. That shite of the big players always moving in the first transfer window really annoyed me.

I haven't played Fifa since 2010. Has it been good the last few years? Has it had any major problems?

So the pace, physics, "sluggishness" of this game is going to be great offline (more sim-like than ever before), but I know a ton of online players are going to hate it at first...

I love it, I hated at times in last years game when people could just send long balls to guys like Walcott all game long, it's annoying to play against. The emphasis on passing, possession and midfield play in this years game plays right into my style of play

Yup. It plays MUCH better than last year IMO. The AI can be a little ridiculous at times but other than that I really enjoy it.
Shooting is MUCH more difficult. You can't just aim in the direction of the goal and press shoot.
Like I said, the AI can be a little ridiculous. I've had them change direction on a dime right to where I'm passing multiple times. I understand that is part of what the AI does, but I was playing some scrub team in a friendly and it was like every player was Vincent Kompany. I even had strikers tackling and taking down my defenders.

If you've ever worked with Europeans, you'll find this VERY realistic.
Wait until they take some of their ten weeks of paid vacation when you need something out of them.
"I will find you a great player very soon, don't worry. Please forward my monthly pay in the meantime."

i think im waiting a week or two because im tryna blow so much fricking money this weekend for the georgia-lsu game. probably gonna be a terrible week but im gonna have to tough it out.
