Yes it does because even in the intervening years they still didn't come close to catching Spurs in either of those stats.

since Chelsea made it back from the 2nd Division in 89 they have been the better club even before Roman. Its really no argument.

Both won the 1st division back 60 years ago.

I´ll admit, in Spain you heard more of Tottenham than Chelsea back then, however, being able to actually see either play, it was Chelsea (UEFA).

Well I'm also talking about an 80+ year period, not just when you were a kid.

Cheers to Uefa for growing a back bone. The Pussies at the English FA don't.

It's one thing to make money and spend it, but City is a fricking joke.

Their books are a nightmare, and they try to hide it with Sponsors from relatives. They were warned by English FA, then a Relative Sponsors City for 100++mil. FA, ok, books are ok, even though you completely gave us a the finger with that weak arse shite, but your ok. (FA crawls away)

Rather than develop talent and get their books in order, they buy more and more, and hide behind family members and sponsor dollas!

Chelsea was bad, but it was Romans cash, he didn't beg family members to sponsor, to cook the books.

frick the Glory Whores Develop some talent for christs sake.

this reads like a comment on soccernet.com. are you a 14 year old manu fan?

here is an article detailing some of city's youth development.

quote:

But half of Sheikh Mansour’s £1billion investment in the Blues has gone on developing other areas of the club, not least the academy - the plan has always been for long-term, self-sustaining growth.

here is a fly though of city's new football complex that is currently under construction.

current BPL U21 Table:

1. Liverpool
2. Chelsea
3. Fulham
4. Southampton
5. Man City

the Man City EDS team is currently up 3-2 over Reading in the BPL U21 League Cup final.

the Man City EDS team went out in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Youth League losing to Benfica.

current BPL U18 North Group Table:

1. Man City
2. Everton
3. Liverpool
4. Newcastle
6. Man United

clearly the effort is there to develop talent from within.
