Today was the best we have played in a long time. Fantastic from start to finish. Barkley and Lukaku were fantastic, as was Kone. It's amazing what Rom and Ross can do when they have someone else up front helping them create space.

Kone is really making a difference, who would've thought. He's got a different skill set than Lukaku, and has been opening things up for Big Rom.
Days like today, Martinez just nails it tactically, has everybody in the right spot (and then we will get into some ineffective funk where Roberto plays Ross out wide for two months and nothing makes any sense).

I'm not getting my hopes up. From reading up a little more on the situation, it sounds like he wants out but the Kiev owner won't sell for any amount. Money isn't an issue to him and said that if Yarmolenko wants out he has to wait until is contract is up.
Apparently Yarmolenko has hired a new super agent to try to make a transfer happen though, so we'll see.

Evidently, the Kyiv owner has a policy of refusing to sell or add to his squad after the season starts. More power to him, I can respect that. We'll see if the new agent can force his hand though

He's good. He and his brother grew up in Dallas. Argentina produces good defenders and IMO 5.5 mil would be a steal if that turns out to be the price

I haven't seen much of Funes Mori, but River Plate tends to develop some class players in their youth setup. Went to the U19 match at the Dallas Cup, their defenders don't take shite from anyone.

Apparently just got capped, and while there are a couple of SA writers who "don't get" why prem teams are interested, the fans are apparently pretty bummed about his potential departure. In sum, don't really know what to think, other than he's probably not terrible if he's starting to get national team consideration.

I watched a few clips today out of curiosity. Kid has some size, which is a definite bonus. Would be a real asset on corner defence especially.
Looks like a hard working player. I think he'd fit in really well with Bobby.
