I understand wanting to keep young talent, but you really wouldn't sell for £34 million?

If we sell, it needs to be for crazy money. There is no incentive to sell Stones for what we value him at (35ish) right now.

Welcome (back) to Everton Gerard Deulefeu and Tom Cleverly

And Everton linked to signing Seri Roberto
quote:

Everton are hopeful of completing the signing of Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto, according to reports.
The Toffees have tried to sign technical central midfielder Roberto for the last two years but the player has always decided to fight for his place at Barca instead of moving.
However, facing another season on the bench at the Nou Camp, Sport says Everton are making a new approach and are hopeful of finally doing business.
The main issue to a deal is Barca’s refusal to sell players whilst under their transfer embargo, but a suitable offer should change their minds.
Roberto, who was linked with Arsenal in the past, has been compared to Cesc Fabregas because of his ability to pick out passes and run the midfield.

I'm drunk and I haven't posted here in a while, but I felt like this was necessary.

Its a grand old team to play for
Its a grand old team to support
An if you know your history
Its enough to make your heart go-ooooooo
We dont care what the red side say
What the heck do we care
Cause we only know that there gonna be a show when the everton boys are there.

Interesting article on why it only makes sense to keep Stones.

Keep him

The friendly against Dundee is streaming live on WatchESPN. Approaching the end of the first half.

Unfortunately Lukaku just came off holding his hamstring

The bright spot so far is Conor McAleny and Kieran Dowell looking really good

20.43 BST: Reports in Italy have linked out-of-favour Inter Milan attacking midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri to Premier League side Everton.

The Swiss international only just joined the Nerazzuri from Bayern Munich in January, but is said to be out of boss Roberto Mancini's plans for the upcoming campaign.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Everton have seized upon an opening created by Shaquiri's failed move to Schalke, and could nab their man if they can pony up the €16 million asking price
