Stick with Beckerdreads in the back, frick J.Jones, keep in Davis(nobody on the team is as accurate with a corner or lob pass then he is. If you think there is, you're an idiot), let Cameron play with Besler at cb. Johansson( or El Chicharito Gringo, aka Wondo)starts instead of Altidore. --pvine's key to the World Cup. Print that shite.

And tell me why. The offense is a helluva lot better with Bradley advancing and letting Beck's stay back, ask Mexico. You don't also think that Wondo or Johansson couldn't score that crap goal that Jozy somehow misses? The Davis remark might be from left field, but, Go Dynamo.

As long as Jones stays disciplined, either works. He got a little ahead of himself today and was found out of position a couple times.

Bradley begs to differ

I agree with the Cameron and Besler pairing. Bacon nor Wondo are better than Jozy, sorry brah. There is a reason Wondo plays for the Earthquakes and Jozy in the EPL. Bacon is great but he's not on Jozy's level yet.

You seem to have missed the past two matches. Both were set up for exactly that, Bradley just didn't execute (minus the Fab goal). Beckerdreads isn't terrible, and we'll probably need him if Jones is suspended, but I trust Jones much more than Beckerdreads (and Jones is much more skilled).

Bacon, yes. Wondo, frick no. Did you watch Wondo miss two absolute sitters against Azerbaijan? Wondo is shite, dwi.

Brad Davis is terrible and slow, two things we can't afford to have playing 70+ minutes in Brasil. Sure, throw him on with 15 minutes to go if we need a goal and it looks like the only chance is from a set piece. But open play? He'll be a massive liability (like he was today).

The diamond has been awesome for one half out of 5 or 6 now. The one where nobody saw it coming and Bradley played his best half fever. Since then it's been ok on the attack and caused us beau coup problems at the back.
That half against Mexico might have been the worst thing that could have happened.
Though I still think, possibly depending on the result against Ghana, that JK will ditch the diamond for the second two games.

All it took was some random thoughts by a drunk(at Finn's for the first time, what an awesome place! We dont have anything like that in Ocean Springs) to totally hijack a thread and start a good conversation on tactics. Thanks! (I love this board sometimes)

Finn's actually used to have a bar in Ocean Springs but it closed down. Right on government.

The McCools in OS sucked arse. How are you gonna be a soccer pub if you don't open till after all the games are over? You live over this way Bob? Any other places that show games in the a.m.? I wish Big O's would make that jump

Probably had more to do with not having enough customers to justify opening that early, but I agree. Gotta commit if you are going to be a soccer bar.

I have to admit I don't know much about finishing but were Wondo's shots on goal that bad? He did put the first one at the keeper but he had to kind of dive for it a bit which probably made it kind of difficult to direct but the second was high and moving away from the keeper and he made a great save.

In my opinion, he did well to get in position and caught some bad luck.

First one he should have buried. One yard to either side of the keeper and it's a goal.

Second one was a nice header but an even better save.

You folks that can't see that Donovan is a better option right now than any outside mid, with the exception of (and perhaps including) Bedoya are either:

a. willfully ignorant
b. higher than giraffe pussy
