I'm not thrilled with Landon for missing the previous qualifiers by choice, but this isn't the time for petulance.

Agreed.

Knock it off, man. You're scaring me.

Also, if Bocanegra + Donovan are left off the WCQ roster and added to the Gold Cup roster. That may be a slap in the face to the players. With the way JK is handling the team.

JK seems kind of shady. First you don't tell Bocanegra he isn't playing until the morning of the Honduras game. Unsettles the team. (If the sporting news article is correct which Straus usually does a great job) Then not telling Donovan he is left off and let him find out through the media ?

C'mon JK. Handle things a little better.

Most coaches say they don't care about this kind of thing. JK seems to genuinely not gaf.

Apparently Landon didn't know about the snub until he read the article in the OP

So tonight, Donovan had a goal, two assists, and a corner kick that forced an own goal.

But this almost guarantees that Jurgen wont call him up.

Loved the corner kick. Perfect placement to the chin of the keeper into the net.

Meh, not in form. I would rather call up Orozco Fiscal to solidify or maybe we should give Alan Gordon another shot.

I work with quite a few Euro professionals (like office workers). Many give off the "I'm always right, it's unfortunate that you don't understand this" vibe.

I'm sure it's cultural, to an extent.

Is this the "true type A" you were talking about the other day?

My former boss never liked an idea he didn't come up with. He knew he was like this but didnt do anything about it.

That's part of it. It's the "my way or the highway" mindset.

Haha. Hats off to LD, really proved guys like me wrong.

Landon said tonight he played "like his old self." He must have been reading this thread!

I'll gladly eat crow if he keeps this up.
